I've been busy lately, sorting out all my photos. I have a couple thousand of them. xD It's not a fun task when my photo-sorting action goes berserk and renames them all in a random order, and moves them to a totally different folder, from all their subfolders. >_> Let's just say that was NOT fun. xD Even now, there's more sorting to be done, but I gave in and finished up a few photos to submit here. I'm happy with both of them. ^^

What else has been happening lately? Well, work has been keeping me as insanely busy as always, and it was only thanks to having yesterday and today off that I managed to get these deviations ready and uploaded.

Writing-wise, my muse has been extremely unpredictable. You know, I used to be one of those people that rolled their eyes and sighed with exasperation when someone mentioned their "muse" as an excuse for not writing, and now I know EXACTLY what they meant. So, Kaylee, Matt, Alyssa, Juhii, etc, you'll never read this, but I'm sorry. xD I'm always able to write for my main play -- my posts might suck, but I know the characters inside-and-out and the scenario and everything about it, pretty much, so I can write half-dead and not worry about conflicting back-stories and all that very-fun stuff. >_> That's the advantage for having been playing -- OMG. July 17th, 2007 was our first play! I just found it again, and it was almost ten months ago. O_O Awesomeee. We've been playing just about every night (and badly craving on the other nights xD) since then. 800 pages in four months... so... I wonder how long the log will be when I'm done catching up (which will probably take a long time xD).

In other news, my writing ability for every other play or piece has sucked! Except that I've gotten the urge to write a novel. WTF. It makes NO SENSE. O_O I want to participate in NaNoWriMo (www.nanowrimo.org) in November, and I think I have two friends convinced to do it with me (Arty and Gymmeh, I'm looking at youuu O_o; =x). Sooo... now I have to wait until November. Which is quite hard.

Art-wise, I've been working on a digital painting, but working with a mouse is so hard. x_x I'm looking around at digital tablets, Wacom ones. There's an advantage to working full-time. ^^ Of course, when you do, you have no time to use the things you buy, so the irony strikes me there. >_>

I'm right now staring at half-a-dozen manga that have been sitting waiting for me to read them. Maybe I'll try reading one or two... or, of course, I could finish cleaning my room. *glances at boxes* Or not. =x

I just realized how incredibly long it's been. Over six months from the last journal entry... O_O

So I wanted to post something just to update, even if I don't have any news.

I started full-time work over four months (has it been that long?!) ago. It's both great (money ftw!) and bad (hours ftl >_>... the job itself isn't bad. It's IT Support, Help Desk for a chain of department stores. I'm such a tech geek that I drink it all in. xD

I'm writing much more than anything else... there's this play with my awesome friend that I'm absolutely addicted to. xD I did do a sketch, then inked it for the heck of it (first inked sketch ever), I'm working on colouring it right now (first finished [wait, make that "planning to finish" still >_>] colouring ever)... someone enlighten me as to why skin is so hard to do? xD And I'm not too bad at bodies, but heads suck. They're too small. We'll see though. I don't like it, but I don't like any of my art and only a little of my writing. xD

On another random note, I have 1,160 deviations to view and 372 messages to respond to. Can you say, laaazy. =X *slaps self* I'll get on it soon. xD

I'm so craving roleplay right now, which is one of the reasons I should not stay up late working on Photoshopping Death Note stuff, or I end up thinking of the play, and rereading the night's posts and wishing I could write again, and then counting the hours until she signs on again, and... yeah, it's a bit sad. >_> xD

And it's now after 3 AM... I'm not working tomorrow, so I'll sleep in, but I should still get to bed soon. (Hah, it's probably gonna be 4-6 before I get off here again. xD)

-ponders- And now, to find a tutorial that shows me how to colour. (Yup, here we go. At least another hour. )

Well. I'm finding myself bored out of my mind but also a little cranky... I wrote a fanfic drabble thingy earlier, about Death Note. (What else? XD) It's about Light's thoughts as he listens to an Evanescence song, or perhaps he never heard it but his thoughts lined up nicely. Meh, I'm confusing myself. XD Maybe I'll get up the courage to post it among all those loooovely fanfics and art pieces already in the LxLight community. It's not yaoi, more subtle shonen-ai (I know I mangled the spelling )... I kind of like it, but it deeefinitely needs more work before I post. =3 For rough draft, it's okay though.

Hmmm. Well, I'm also getting a strong urge to write out a mirror, using another Evanescence (maybe XD) song. This one from L's point of view. Hmmmm.
